基于高灵敏度探测器的水下光通信系统

Research on underwater optical communication system based on high sensitivity detector

  • 摘要: 目前,水下高速无线光通信技术已成为水下无线数据通信的研究热点,受到越来越多的学者青睐。针对水下光通信远距离、易于对准的技术难点,基于蓝绿发光二极管(LED)光源,设计实现了一种大接收视场角度与高灵敏度探测电路的水下光通信系统:发射光功率达到1.2 W,接收视场角度大于60°,探测灵敏度优于−60 dBm。对原理工程样机进行测试,结果显示:在水质衰减度为0.85 dBm·m−1的水域环境,系统可实现文字、图片、实时视频数据流的高速传输等功能,数据传输速率为10 Mb/s,通信距离为40 m,通信误码率为0。

     

    Abstract: At present, underwater high-speed wireless optical communication technology has become the research hotspot of underwater wireless data communication, favored by more and more scholars. For the technical difficulties of long distance and easy alignment of underwater optical communication, this paper designs and realizes an underwater optical communication system with large receiving field of view angle and high sensitivity detection circuit based on blue-green LED light source; the transmitting optical power reaches 1.2 W, the receiving field of view angle is more than 60°, and the detection sensitivity is better than −60 dBm; the testing of the principle engineering prototype reveals that: the system can realize text, picture, and real-time video data communication under the water environment with the water attenuation degree of 0.85 dBm·m−1, and the system can realize the data communication of text, picture, and real-time video data. Through the test of the principle engineering prototype, it is shown that in the water quality attenuation degree of 0.85 dBm·m−1, the system can realize the high-speed transmission of text, pictures, real-time video data streams, etc. The data transmission rate is 10 Mbps, the communication distance is 40 m, and the communication bit error rate is zero.
